What Can I See and Do in Llandudno?
When you visit Llandudno, you’ll never run out of things to do. If you want to get in touch with nature, you can explore Betws-y-Coed and Llanberis, two of the most beautiful villages in Snowdonia. You can see some of the biggest castles and tiniest houses. If you want to get around in a fun and unique mode of transportation from the past, you can even take an excursion on the Llanberis Lake Railway, a fully-restored steam railway.
Is Llandudno Beach Dog Friendly?
Many beaches in Llandudno will welcome you and your dog. Some beaches will even allow you to walk your dog without a lead. However, many beaches have seasonal restrictions. The small sandy beach at Rhos Point prohibits dogs all year, but many local beaches do not allow dogs between the 1st of May and the 30th of September.
How Long Is Llandudno Pier?
Built in 1886, the Llandudno Pier extends from the north shore Victorian promenade 700 meters into the Irish Sea. This makes it the longest pier in all of Wales and the fifth-longest pier in the entire UK.

The local theatre, Venue Cymru, is a 1,500-seat, tiered auditorium that holds various events and exhibitions. You can find musicals, operas, comedy shows, and more at the theatre all year long.
Are Dogs Allowed on Llandudno Pier?
While many beaches in Llandudno have season restrictions on dogs, the pier and promenade are great places to take your canine companion for a walk. If your dog is controlled and on a lead, you can walk them along the pier or promenade. You cannot take them into buildings or businesses, though.

The Llandudno Cable Car stretches 1.6 km long and is the longest cable car line in Britain. No prearrangements are necessary.
