The Welsh Mountain Zoo
The Welsh Mountain Zoo sits high above Colwn Bay, giving some beautiful views over the panoramic scenery. Spend the day exploring the gardens that house this conservation zoo and learn about the many rare and endandgered species that live at the zoo.
The headliners are of course the big cats and the zoo is lucky enough to have two Sumatran Tigers, a beautiful Snow Leopard and three Margay. The zoo has successfully bred Snow Leopards and Margay over recent years, helping to keep the numbers of these endangered species up.
The zoo has a large community of primates too, including Gibbons, Monkeys, Champanzees and Lemurs.
