Walking Holidays

With our great locations we have some fantastic destinations for ramblers. If you like coastal paths or national park walks then we have it all for you. The Barrowfield Hotel in Newquay and our two hotels in Torquay, The Devonshire Hotel and The Abbey Lawn Hotel, are situated within easy reach of the South West Coast Path, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. Bournemouth and Weymouth make great bases to explore the Isle of Purbeck or the New Forest. The Isle of Wight is famous for rambling and even hosts an annual walking festival on its many miles of coast line and trails over the downs. Our Imperial Hotel in Eastbourne is just a stones throw from the beach so you can step out of the front door and start your own coastal trail, or visit the iconic Beachy Head at the nearby South Downs National Park. Alternatively the Somerset Hotel in Llandudno has the Great Orme on it's doorstep and is only a short drive to the Snowdonia National Park.

If your walks start a little further afield, our groups department can arrange for a coach to drop your group off and collect at various locations through the day for different length walks. Alternatively you could make use of the many local public transport links.
