First opened in August 1883, Magnus Volk’s electric railway has become a firm favourite with visitors to Brighton. running from Palace Pier to Black Rock. From it’s original pioneering design, through various extensions and revolutionary ideas it has survived and still runs from Easter through to September every 15 minutes.
