Bournemouth Oceanarium

Just a short stroll along the clifftop from the Bournemouth Sands Hotel will take you to the Bournemouth Oceanarium, just opposite the pier.

The Oceanarium is a wonderful place with hundreds of animals from all over the world. It is split into 10 different areas including the Otter Oasis, Penguin Beach Encounter and Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef section allows you to see the fish, sharks and sea turtles from both above and below the waterline as you go along the underwater viewing tunnel.

There are regular talks and feeds throughout the day so you can learn more from the keepers about the Otters, Penguins, Sharks and Turtles. Once you have purchased your ticket it is valid all day so you can come and go and not miss out on the talks.
