At Daish's Blackpool Hotel we aim to offer high levels of hospitality to all our guests, we hope you will find this access information useful and that it helps to make your visit an enjoyable one.
We are aware that everyone’s needs are different, so if there is any detail you are looking for that’s not covered in the information below, then please do get in touch and we will be happy to help. And of course, our friendly team will be on hand to assist you at any point during your stay with us.

Directions to the hotel

By car follow the M6 motorway from the north or south to junction 32 and follow the M55 Blackpool/Fleetwood signs continue on M55 for 12 minutes then continue on A5230 and at the roundabout take the second exit onto Yeadon way. At the roundabout continue straight onto Seasiders Way, at the next roundabout take second exit continuing on Seasiders Way. Turn right towards Central Drive/A5099 and then turn right onto Central Drive/A5099 turn left onto New Bonny Street, turn right onto the Promenade/A584 and the hotel will be on the right just after the Metropole Hotel. You will find parking at the front of the hotel.

The bus and train stations are located in the town centre and are a 5 minute taxi ride away.

Our postcode for the hotel is FY1 1RZ.

Some general points on access

The entrance has 6 steps.
Our coffee shop, games room and reception are all on the same level.
Our restaurant has two steps upon entry.
Our bar and function room is a further 2 steps up from the restaurant.
The hotel is spread over two floors and the lift can access both floors however some of our room have stairs to reach them.

When you arrive at the hotel

Parking is at the front of the hotel.
Porters will be on hand to help with your luggage.

Our reception area

The floor is carpeted and well lit.
The reception area is in one level, and the lift can be taken from there.
Our staff are always available to help you with check-in.

Public areas

The coffee shop and lounge area is all on reception level and is flat.
The ladies and gentleman’s toilet can be accessed with just 2 steps.
Background music is played during the day at a low level.
There is nightly entertainment in the bar.
Doors on the ground floor have auto closes connected to the fire alarm system.

Accommodation

The lift accesses both of our floors and some rooms are on level access, however some rooms have two steps to reach the rooms and some have one flight of stair to access.
Doors on upstairs landings to the bedrooms are all fire doors and remain closed to prevent spread of fire in an emergency.
No bedrooms have telephones at present.

Fire alarm

The fire alarm is high pitched siren and many of our detectors have flashing lights.
Emergency evacuation plans are available in each room on the back of the bedroom doors please make yourself familiar with these for you own safety.
For those with mobility issues please inform reception on arrival who will log this so we can add this to our evacuation procedure.

Additional information

Mobility scooters and specialist equipment such as raised toilet seats and frames can be arranged please arrange prior to the booking or at reception. We have tried to be accurate and comprehensive with the information provided, but we are willing to give further information on any aspect of the hotel.
