We have been organising outstanding value for money holidays since 1979 and during that time many thousands of satisfied customers have been on our coaching holidays.  We own hotels in four of the best seaside resorts in the UK:   Devonshire Hotel in Torquay * , Daish’s Hotel in Shanklin,  Isle of Wight *  The Sands Hotel in Bournemouth *  and the recently acquired 3 star Barrowfield Hotel in Newquay.   Each hotel has all the usual facilities, including a lift to most floors, centrally heated en-suite bedrooms with TV and tea & coffee, with the added bonus of live entertainment every night of the week. We also own a fleet of 49 seater luxury coaches,  with toilet and wash facilities and air-conditioning. With friendly staff and good home cooking  it’s not difficult to see why we welcome back 1000s of guests time after time.

A Daish's Coach Holiday includes return coach travel, dinner, bed and breakfast and live entertainment every night  

This is an example of a typical 4 night / 5 day coaching holiday;

DAY ONE (ARRIVAL DAY)
Coaches will depart pick up points in order to arrive between 3pm and 5.30pm depending on traffic and length of journey from your area. Click on BY COACH for details of pick up points
5.30pm The bar will be open for pre-dinner drinks
6.30pm Dinner served in the dining room followed by coffee or tea
8pm Bingo followed by an evening of live entertainment and dancing until late
DAY TWO
8.45am Choice of English Breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal & toast served in the dining room with tea or coffee
9.30am Full Day excursion stopping at local places of interest (book & pay for your seats at reception), returning 4pm. Alternatively spend the day in town or relaxing on the beach
6.30pm Dinner followed by coffee/tea, Bingo, live entertainment and dancing
DAY THREE
8.45am Breakfast then a FREE DAY
6.30pm Dinner followed by coffee or tea
8pm Bingo, then live entertainment and dancing
DAY FOUR
8.45am Breakfast
10am Join us for a Half Day mystery coach excursion (book & pay for your seats at reception),Or spend the day in town or relaxing on the beach
6.30pm Dinner followed by coffee/tea, Bingo,  live entertainment and dancing
DAY FIVE (DEPARTURE DAY)
Early breakfast (times vary) then a sad farewell to friends old and new before returning home on our coach. 

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT 7 NIGHTS A WEEK !!!

One of the reasons many of our guests return to our hotels year after year is our fantastic live entertainment. Every single night we present a live act. Whether it's the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s or 2000s, your musical taste will be catered for. What's more, each of our hotels has its own dance floor, so if you're in the mood for dancing, grab a partner and come on down! And of course our ever popular Bingo is readily available!

THEME BREAKS

We are renowned for our fun theme breaks which run for several months throughout the year:-

AROUND THE WORLD ~ JANUARY TO APRIL

This popular "international" theme features menus, decorations and memorabilia from countries from around the world,  We still offer a chioce of traditional English food each day.

Day 1 Caribbean Adventure (arrival day)
Join us for a 3-course dinner at 6.30pm, with lightly spiced Jerk Pork with Rice & Peas to warm your soul! Then why not finish with Jamaican Rum Trifle? Don’t worry; traditional English favourites will also be on the menu if you’re already feeling home sick! After dinner join us for Prize Bingo followed by live entertainment throughout the evening.

Day 2 Spanish Ole!
At 8.45am come down for breakfast in the land of Matadors and Sangria. Enjoy a free day in town or join us for an optional excursion (Excursions Notice Board in Reception. Choices for dinner today will include Grilled Fish of the Day and Spanish Tortilla.


Day 3 Moroccan Night
Breakfast at 8.45am, then a free day or optional trip to a local tourist attraction. Dinner choices tonight include a dish straight out of Casablanca itself, Lemon Chicken with Chickpeas. Why not pre-order your wine to enjoy with your dinner? At 8pm there will be a Quiz to test your international knowledge, followed as ever by yet more live entertainment and dancing until late.

Day 4 Truly Great Britain
Traditional home cooking to be enjoyed by all. Come and enjoy a cooked breakfast, and place your order for a home cooked roast dinner tonight with all the trimmings! Don’t forget to dress up Alternatively, just sit back, relax and enjoy the night’s entertainment.

Day 5 Departure

A Fancy Dress Competition will be held on the last night of the holiday, with prizes given for the best costume from ANY country in the world.


TINSEL & TURKEY ~ NOVEMBER & DECEMBER  (October, Shanklin only)

This fun, festive itinerary sees the hotels decked out in Christmas decorations and the staff in festive fancy dress. With seasonal fayre, mince pies, crackers and even a special visit from Santa!

Day One Arrival ~ "Christmas Eve"
A chance to settle into your room, unpack and look around the hotel
The hotel bar will be open at 5pm
6.30pm 3 Course Dinner served in the Restaurant
8.00pm Bingo followed by live entertainment until late

Day Two ~ "Christmas Day"
8.45am Breakfast
6.30pm Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings followed by Mince Pies
and Coffee and a surprise appearance by a very special guest…

8.00pm Prize Bingo followed by a great night of live entertainment

Day Three ~ "Boxing Day" (only on 5 day tours)
8.45am English breakfast, fruit or cereals, all with tea and coffee
6.30pm 3 Course Dinner with all the trimmings

Day Four ~ "New Year’s Eve"
8.45am Breakfast
6.30pm Dinner with all the trimmings followed by Mince Pies and Coffee
8.00pm Bingo then evening of live entertainment taking us into the “New Year” at 11pm, with a memorable rendition of “Auld Lang Syne”
