Daish's For Families
From the first glimpse of the sea on arrival, the resort provides the perfect welcome for families, keeping the younger ones entertained and happy, and giving everyone the chance to relax.
Daish's hotels welcome
Each of our hotels has a great range of facilities to keep children entertained throughout their stay – games rooms, play areas, gardens, pools and so on. There are triple and family rooms in each hotel, so we can take families of up to 5 people per room. Kids’ menus are on offer at mealtimes – or they can take smaller (or normal) portions of adult meals. Our hotels also arrange supervised children’s activities during the school holidays.
And the prices are right too! On all holidays there are
FREE KIDS PLACES for all children up to their sixth birthday. All other children pay 50% of the adult price.
Our resorts - perfect for kids!
All year round there's an endless number of places to explore and to entertain for kids of all ages - theme parks, castles, historic houses, zoos and adventure parks, and famous beaches, many with golden sand, some remote and rugged.
Torquay officially has the best sand on the English coast for building sandcastles, and the resort has a large range of great family attractions, open all year. Living Coasts, with its penguins, seals and seabirds is a short walk from the hotel.
Bournemouth's seven long miles of golden sands are bigger and better than ever before, with the KIDZONE scheme making a visit to the beach a safe and relaxing experience for parents. Visit the Bournemouth Seafront Information Office (based on Undercliff Drive) for all your questions about deckchairs, sun beds, beach hut hire and anything else you may think of.
Newquay is famous the world over for its beaches. The magnificent Tolcarne beach is just across the road from our hotel. From the Aquarium and Newquay Zoo to exciting adventure playgrounds, Newquay boasts a world of family attractions away from its beaches. See reef sharks at the Blue Reef Aquarium or splash in the tropics of The Oasis Fun Pool or Waterworld at Trenance Leisure Park.
Shanklin also has much to offer the older age groups. There are water sport centres, horse-riding schools and dozens of well-kept cycling tracks and activity centres spread across the Island. And the local sandy beaches at Shanklin and Sandown are great for swimming.
Ask at hotel reception for details of family attractions, tickets and ideas.
